currently the melodic branch breaks vision. The fix for this is:

install openCV (https://docs.opencv.org/master/d7/d9f/tutorial_linux_install.html)
in the ssl-vision repository: replace the interface variable with some other name (i.e. iface)

Just has been tested on a fresh install and the openCV problem was gone.
