Request for enhanced security by encrypting on the client

The app is very useful for me, but I still don't use it to sure really sensitive files.
As I understand it, quickdrop encrypts password-protected files when they are received by the server. However, they are not encrypted in transit by the app. HTTPS, if used, encrypts the files in transit but when using cloudflare tunnels, cloudflare are decrypting and re-encrypting everything in the middle.
Can quickdrop be enhanced to encrypt and decrypt in the browser instead?

It can be done, but other challenges arise from that. For a large file, it can be taxing on the client's system, and there is the problem of what encryption will best serve the purpose. I don't know that much about security, so if I start implementing this, it would definitely be further down the line.
