What's all muted?

Various:

Ambient Sounds - Water, Rain, Trams, City, Zone, Instance.

Character Sounds - Error Messages for all races female and male. When you're spamming buttons and your character won't stop saying "Not Enough Energy" and similar errors.

Creature Sounds - This includes the very very very annoying MechaStrider sound effect from the repair bot and mount. The harvest golem footsteps. Many other footsteps. Flapping sounds from birds and bird pets.

Doodad Sounds - Looping sound annoyances. Machine shop grinding in your ear sounds, wind mills, tornado, fire pits, torches, sizzles, flys, swarms, chain, steam, drum sounds.

Interface Sounds - Various sounds related to professions and opening closing game windows such as the bell ringing sound when opening Auction House.

Item Sounds - That jingle bell ringing sound whenver you play a character wearing mail or plate armor. HOOOOLY!!!!

Spells - The very famously annoying Fizzle sounds, more profession sounds, wand and auto attack shooting sounds.

There's a Sound I want to silence, how can I change a sound?

  1. First you have to do is identify the sound file you want to mute/change.

    Filter Search

  2. Find the name of the sound and make a note of it (sometimes there's more multiple variations)

  3. Download the blank .wav or .ogg template sound file and rename it to match the name of the real sound file

  4. Make a folder called Sound in your main Turtle WoW folder

  5. Put your file in the same path where the real file would be.
