ReX Engine

ReX Engine is a cross-platform game engine for creating 2D and 3D games. It offers a set of tools to simplify game development. Games can be exported to desktop (Linux, macOS, Windows), mobile (Android, iOS), web, and consoles.

Getting the engine

Binary downloads

Official binaries for the ReX editor and the export templates will be found on the Redot website once it's set up and on the GitHub page until then.

Compiling from source

For the time being, see the official Redot docs for compilation instructions for every supported platform.

Community and contributing

Redot is not only an engine but an ever-growing community of users and engine developers. Please visit our Discord server!

To get started contributing to the project, see the contributing guide. This document also includes guidelines for reporting bugs.
