What

Adds Jira: <id> as the first line of test function docstrings.

Why

Test-to-requirement traceability now lives in the code itself (code-first test management): each test links directly to its Jira requirement, resolved from the test's Polarion linkage.

Details

  • 10 test files changed
  • Jira links added: CNV-1548, CNV-21833, CNV-2292, CNV-25461, CNV-4761, CNV-5245, CNV-59392, CNV-64523, CNV-701, KNIP-360, KNIP-770
  • Existing docstring content is preserved; only the Jira: line is prepended.
  • Polarion IDs flagged for manual review (no Jira link found): CNV-12508, CNV-12509, CNV-14339, CNV-14340, CNV-16025, CNV-16278, CNV-16279, CNV-16553, CNV-16554, CNV-2060, CNV-2063, CNV-235, CNV-2774, CNV-2775, CNV-369, CNV-3958, CNV-3963, CNV-4505, CNV-4713, CNV-4768, CNV-5565, CNV-6455, CNV-6548, CNV-6733

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Documentation
    • Updated documentation for network connectivity, bonding, bridge, jumbo-frame, bandwidth, hot-plug, and IP address management test coverage.
    • Test behavior and product functionality are unchanged.

Explanation

Learning: In RedHatQE/openshift-virtualization-tests Python test files, a `Jira:` traceability line does not require an inline `# <skip-jira-utils-check>` marker by default. Do not report the marker's absence unless a specific checker or file-level rule explicitly requires it.
