Not following $TUCKR_HOME environment variable

Does the dotfiles directory you set up exists? My guess is that you don't have an existent dotfiles directory at all yet.
The error message tuckr gives when there are no dotfiles dir found is with the default lookup path.

I guess there's an argument to be said that if the TUCKR_HOME is already defined, it should use that instead. (if you have it defined the init command will in fact use that location if I'm not mistaken.

I already have the directory created, I used it in the past… I also tried with zsh instead of nushell but nothing, it seems to fail anyway.

Solved: I reinstalled tuckr with brew reinstall tuckr --force, and then I modified the environment variable because it searched for dotfiles in ~/dotfiles/dotfiles. I changed the line from $env.TUCKR_HOME = ($env.HOME | path join "dotfiles") to $env.TUCKR_HOME = $env.HOME

I see. Yeah I also didn't catch that you had dotfiles defined in the variable. The TUCKR_HOME variable is always the parent directory because in Tuckr there's the concept of "profiles" (basically just a bunch of separate dotfiles repos that you can use together and it's expected for them to be in the same directory.

I'll make it so that the error message reports your defined TUCKR_HOME if it exists in hopes of that helping people out with the issue you had.
