Full-screen state not preserved after quitting when "Close windows when quitting an app" is unchecked in System Preferences

If "Close windows when quitting an app" is unchecked in the General page in System Preferences, quitting NetNewsWire while in full screen mode and reopening it causes the app to reopen in full-screen mode for a split second, but then suddenly flash black and go back to the desktop in windowed mode.

I second that. Also, after booting the window (which is not in full screen but should be) lies on top of a window from a different program that is in fullscreen. So you have to shuffle through your full screen programs to find the one which has the NNW windows on top.
