What Changed

Appends the churn-ledger row for the v0.0.38-nightly.20260831.1241 unblock walk. Generated by node scripts/fork-churn.ts append; docs/internals/fork-churn.md is not hand-edited.

The single conflict was apps/web/src/components/ChatView.tsx in e912a4fd0f2c feat: New worktrunk thread mode replaces the Worktrunk hook switches, resolved by rerere replay. That promotes ChatView.tsx to a hot seam at two walks.

Why

The row lands after the apply and is not part of the rebased lane, so it ships as its own docs-only change.

Worth noting from this walk: neither packages/contracts/src/settings.test.ts nor apps/web/src/components/ChatView.logic.test.ts conflicted, and both were repeat offenders before the fork tests moved into fork-owned sibling files. That is the first reading of the third acceptance criterion on #439.

Verification

  • node scripts/fork-churn.ts render --check: docs/internals/fork-churn.md is current
  • node scripts/fork-delta.ts --check: ok: 207 fork commits tagged

Checklist

  • Ledger regenerated, not hand-edited
  • Row range matches the applied lease and installed head
