Add inline R code to Rmd snippet

It would be great if we could add inline R code in R Markdown snippet like inserting R chunk.

There are some other useful snippets that I would like to add to Rmd snippet:

• ^[Inline footnotes text].

• Speaker notes (useful for presentations).

• Side-by-side two column layout.

• Reference list (this is useful when inserting a reference list fence into a custom location).
