Originally, it wasn't designed for texts with 100,000+ characters. An issue is that no matter how you split a text for display ("chunks"), a browser will lag just because this text exists. You can test it yourself — open Google Chrome and a text file with 100,000+ characters, click start, then switch to other browser tabs, visit websites, and then come back — it will lag. I will look at the other implemented functions... |
