Change Launcher to WinRun4j?

For the Windows installer, I originally suggested that you created the launcher with Launch4j. However, WinRun4j can run MCA Selector as a native process on Windows. Here is the GitHub page and an example launcher ini file.

Made a branch where this is implemented: #194

Here's a sample setup:

MCA_Selector_Setup.zip

It should work exactly the same as the Launch4J version, but now appears as MCA Selector in the task manager instead of <insert JRE name here>. Also took the opportunity to add some more resources to the exe (version, copyright, ...).

Thanks! I was also asking for this because Launch4j launchers don't pin to the taskbar correctly. Also, with WinRun4j, you can point vm.location for multiple JRE locations. For example, to fix the issue where Launch4j wouldn't detect the JRE on some devices, which was mainly caused by the installer not renaming the JRE directory, you could write vm.location=jre\bin\server\jvm.dll|zulu8.52.0.23-ca-fx-jre8.0.282-win_x64\bin\server\jvm.dll. I am referring to issue #184.
