Parked skill idea, moved from FUTURE-IDEAS.md when that file was retired in favour of tracker issues (2026-08-13 maintenance round).
The idea
Repoint lecture data loads at the central data-lectures repo, following the QuantEcon/meta#338 / data-lectures#15 playbook: data PR first, byte-compare sha256 gate, repoint URLs, delete local copies. Worked examples: lecture-python.myst#973, lecture-python-intro#792.
Assessment (2026-08-13)
Pure skill material — a fully specified, deterministic playbook with a hard verification gate (the sha256 byte-compare) — but low current volume. The playbook is short enough that a maintainer with the two worked examples open can follow it by hand, so the skill earns its keep only if the repointing campaign resumes at scale.
Recommended disposition: leave parked until meta#338 schedules a tranche of lectures; the skill is then a one-session build because the procedure needs no invention, only encoding.
