    Cherry-picked from calcs branch from SHA 77abd70
Did not accept changes to src/derived.jl, src/magic.jl
In tests/runtests.jl, accepted a combination of changes
Accepted all changes to Project.toml, src/SynthDiag.jl, src/gas_injection.jl, src/interferometer.jl, src/langmuir_probes.jl, test/speedtest.jl
