Current Status

⚠️ Windows support is experimental. Full Radicle P2P functionality on Windows is actively being developed by the Radicle team. Once native Windows support is available, InterBrain will integrate it.

CI Infrastructure Update: Windows Radicle Support

Findings from CI Testing (December 2025)

Based on Radicle 1.3.0 release and our CI testing:

What Works on Windows (Native)

• ✅ rad CLI: Builds and runs natively on Windows
• ✅ rad --version, rad --help: All basic commands work
• ✅ Successfully tested in GitHub Actions Windows runner

What Requires WSL

• ❌ git-remote-rad: Needs WSL for git remote protocol
• ❌ radicle-node: Needs WSL for the P2P daemon

CI Workflow Status

• radicle.yml now tests:
  • Ubuntu: Full Radicle (install, identity, init) ✅
  • macOS: Full Radicle (install, identity, init) ✅
  • Windows: CLI build from source ✅
