Worth noting that they seem to filter availability in Play Store based on SafetyNet despite not using SafetyNet which makes no sense at all, since the point is to avoid disappointed users by hiding apps that are not going to work for them, which they don't seem to understand.

It might be related. I just installed GrapheneOS, so I don't know if a previous version of the OS, or a previous version of the application (or a combination thereof) used to work. The application shows its bank splash screen for half a second, and then closes immediately.

Enabling per-app exploit protection compatibility mode under the app info page resolved this crash on my Pixel 5.
Native debugging enabled was not required.

How do I do that?

Here's the steps:

You can enable our exploit protection compatibility mode via Settings ➔ Apps ➔ App ➔ Advanced. The exploit protection compatibility mode toggle will switch from hardened_malloc to Android's standard allocator (Scudo).
