LandR package splitting #151

Open
Open

Description

@CeresBarros

Distinguish between the three core functionalities:

  • Data prep:

    • prepInputs for e.g., NTEMS, SCANFI
  • Functions linked to simulation

    • E.g., functions with cohortData
    • Isolating cohort assignment logic would be useful when interfacing with external models (e.g. WS3)
  • Plotting / visualization;

    • These will likely be quite different set of package dependencies

    the current LandR function call graph:

    if (FALSE) {
      if (!require("BiocManager", quietly = TRUE)) {
        install.packages("BiocManager")
      }

      BiocManager::install("graph")
      BiocManager::install("Rgraphviz")

      install.packages("CodeDepends")
    }

    library(CodeDepends)
    library(Rgraphviz)

    library(LandR) ## package needs to be on the search path

    gg <- makeCallGraph("package:LandR")

    plot(gg, "twopi")

    zz <- layoutGraph(gg, layoutType = "twopi")
    graph::nodeRenderInfo(zz) <- list(fontsize = 96)
    renderGraph(zz)
