Prerequisites

  • Write a descriptive title.
  • Make sure you are able to repro it on the latest version
  • Search the existing issues.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Run : Install-Module -Name Az -Repository PSGallery -Force
  2. Asks permission to accept "NuGet provider is required to continue" provide 'Y'

Experiencing below mentioned error when trying to install Az modules using powershell

Expected behavior

Installed Successfully

Actual behavior

PackageManagement\Install-PackageProvider : No match was found for the specified search criteria for the provider 'NuGet'. The package provider requires 'PackageManagement' and 'Provider' tags. Please check if the specified package has
the tags.
