500 Error on Email Address Verification Link

Steps to reproduce

I signed-into the website connecting the MS account I have associated with this GitHub account, then changed my email address. Upon receipt of the verification email and either clicking the link in the message or copying it to a browser, I receive a 500 error:

Requesting a second verification email and repeated attempts failed the same way.

Expected behavior

The email should be verified.

Actual behavior

The email is not verified.

Still not working. And the email mentioned here is rejecting incoming emails.
