This is based off the latest on the development branch. So hopefully there are not a bunch of extraneous commits in it.

This commit still removes empty space at the end of a line. I also changed .net to .NET as I believe that is the standard branding for .NET these days. At least that is what the Microsoft guys said when they named the .NET Core TFM .NET Platform Standard - see https://github.com/dotnet/corefx/blob/master/Documentation/architecture/net-platform-standard.md
