Recurring ("Repeat on a schedule") surveys run for a fixed number of iterations counted from the launch date, then PostHog automatically sets an end date and stops the survey. The docs described how iterations work but never stated that the survey closes on its own when the schedule completes, or that manually removing the end date won't restart it. This adds that clarification and the two ways to keep collecting responses.

Eager-graph budgets are report-only until a baseline is established. Sizes are gzip of public/**/*.js; eager size is webpack module source bytes for the modules actually shipped in the entrypoint's initial chunks (post-tree-shake).
Fold the "keep collecting responses" options and the end-date note into the single "stops automatically" bullet so it fits the surrounding keep-in-mind list instead of adding a standalone mini-section. Generated-By: PostHog Code Task-Id: 573306b2-daf3-4ed3-bf33-9bd39b2cceaa
Split the keep-collecting guidance into two bullets in an indented subsection under the auto-stop bullet, switch to active voice, and drop em dashes. Generated-By: PostHog Code Task-Id: 573306b2-daf3-4ed3-bf33-9bd39b2cceaa

Just wanted to double check this is the correct behavior @lucasheriques, before adding this to the docs. |

Changes
Clarifies the Repeat on a schedule section of the surveys docs to explain what happens when a recurring survey's schedule completes.
Why: A user was confused about why their recurring survey kept "disabling itself." The behavior is by design — a recurring survey runs for a fixed number of iterations from its launch date, then PostHog automatically sets an end date and stops it — but the docs never said this.
This adds a single bullet to the existing "few things to keep in mind" list stating that the survey stops automatically when the last iteration ends (repetitions × cycle length, from launch), plus a short note on the two ways to keep collecting responses and the gotcha that clearing the end date won't restart a completed schedule.
No visual changes.
