Test the Report Builder flow for UK with National and Subnational populations.

Test scenarios

Test each scenario using both Card view and Row view:

• Create a report with UK nationwide population
• Create a report with a UK country population (England, Wales, Scotland, or Northern Ireland)
• Create a report with a UK constituency population
• Create a report with a UK local authority population
• Select/create a policy and add to simulation
• Complete full report creation flow
• Verify simulation canvas updates correctly
• Test report meta panel (naming, status)

View mode comparison

After testing both views, provide feedback:

• Which view (Card or Row) felt more intuitive?
• Any issues specific to one view?
• Preference and why?

Questions to answer

• Is navigation between steps clear?
• Are geographic options easy to find and select?
• Is the hierarchy clear (National → Country → Constituency/Local Authority)?
• Any bugs, glitches, or confusing UI elements?

View mode comparison:
Card view is clearer as it offers a more intuitive flow of steps to create a report. A minor issue with both views is that even though the info that depends on previous steps are faded out when the info of previous steps are not provided. It's not that intuitive that the previous info need to be provided first, the instruction text could be bigger and bolder. Each step can be indexed in the correct order to generate a report.

1. The navigation between steps are mostly clear but can be improved if layout of in the ui in each step. Also each step takes up only a small upper portion of the page, which would be good if takes up more.
2. Geographic options are easy to find as the guiding process is clear.
3. The hierarchy is clear.
4. No bugs or glitches. The only issues are pretty much the cards and layout mentioned above.
