What

  • ADR 0014: catalogues eight i18n shapes (3 full sketches under 0014-i18n-options/), records the operator's six goals, and — as of 2026-08-15 — the critical review and optimized cut: proceed as a stateless, git-native CLI in the standalone workshop-i18n repository; the architecture pack's service runtime and dual-live-adapter requirement are explicitly not adopted.
  • 0014-tms-architecture/ pack: full domain analysis (system/integration/domain/testing/ops docs + 12 proposed ADRs), preserved with a partially superseded banner pointing at workshop-i18n.
  • docs/decisions/README.md + docs/roadmap.md: i18n listed as exploring → pointer here.

Why

PR #55 (pt-BR parallel tree) proved demand and the wrong shape (re-creates the ADR 0003 drift problem). This records the shapes considered and the direction chosen without freezing English authoring. The four acceptance spikes continue as Spec Kit features 001–004 in workshop-i18n; PR #55 is planned as seed corpus there (spec 004), honoring the contribution.

Docs only — no product code, no winner declared beyond the recorded direction.

ADR 0014 catalogues eight i18n shapes with three full sketches and the
Workshop Localization Hub architecture pack (12 proposed ADRs). A 2026-08-15
critical review kept the pack's domain model but cut its service runtime;
the optimized decision set continues in the standalone workshop-i18n repo,
with the four acceptance spikes carried there as Spec Kit features 001-004.
