@gracemyz @kchall @stannam can you please do a quick GUI test for me on branch 434 when you have a moment? On Windows, the File>Delete item should show a keyboard shortcut of ctrl+del (see my screenshot below). On Mac, the File>Delete item should show a keyboard shortcut of cmd+. And both shortcuts should work on both operating systems, even though the displayed shortcuts are different. So for example, I can delete signs & modules using either ctrl+del or ctrl+backspace, and on a Mac you should be able to do so using either cmd+backspace or cmd+fcn+backspace.

@kvesik Looks good on my end! (Mac, OS 11.3.1, Big Sur)

...and yes, all of the following work to delete a sign (with a confirmation warning):

1. cmd + delete
2. cmd + fn + delete
3. ctrl+click and choose 'delete' from pop-up menu
4. clicking on red X in menu bar
5. selecting "File / Delete" from topmost menus

Thanks, @kvesik. Both of the delete shortcuts work perfectly on a newer mac as well (macOS 15.3.2). I tested deleting a sign and a module.

Of course, the other three ways to delete that Kathleen listed all worked correctly!
