The EYcalc is divided into individual modules, which handle the (1) irradiation, (2) the optics, (3) the electrics, and (4) the energy yield simulations. Those modules can also be operated independently (e.g., calculate the reflectance, transmittance, absorptance of a solar cell architecture).

Note: To get started, you must first get the SMARTS code and the TMY3 data, first. Please see our setup guide for details!

Once everything is set up, you can either run the main.m, which provides an exemplary EY calculation of a perovskite/c-Si tandem solar cell (see also the quick start guide).
