List of changes:
- Move the tabs up to the top of the screen.
- “Part Settings” → “Parts”
- “Minimum” → “Part Clearance”
- Move “Generate Sinterbox” checkbox to the main screen.
- The Sinterbox tab should only be available if this is checked.
- “Start” → “Generate”
- Add “Results” section
- Table that captures every result this session.
- Option to save result as a “result” file.
- After saving, the table will display the saved name as the Result Name.
- “Size” column should provide useful dimensions, like the overall dims of a Stack, or the inside dims of a Sinterbox.
- Move “Export result as STL” to the “Results” section.
- Move “Section View” to the “View” menu (which I have added, too.)
- Move “Import/Export” into the “File” menu, where they belong. (e.g., “Import parts…”)
Other ideas not pictured here:
- Perhaps rename the “Bounding Box” tab to “Advanced”, and have a section within it for Bounding Box initial values and limits.
- “Part Rotations” section should be condensed into a drop-down menu. Perhaps a text blurb should show up based on what was chosen.
- Everything should have an alt-text that explains its effect.
