None of the figures on https://oceanparcels.github.io/virtualship_website/ seem to be leaded correctly. Any idea what's going on, @VeckoTheGecko?

not fun testing in production... I think it might be the assetPrefix, will check back on this

Doing some more investigation into this, its not a "one spot" fix and would require updating all the paths to the images as well https://nextjs.org/docs/app/api-reference/config/next-config-js/basePath (see bottom of page).

As this issue is directly related to GitHub pages (the final deployment won't have a base path prefix of virtualship_website like we have here) I propose that we just work using local development + screenshots of changes rather than use the GitHub Pages for live preview.

If that sounds good, I can go ahead and revert the prior two PRs trying to address this
