I've done a quick survey on this with the question "how do you think, what does a button with this icon do?" and answers are:

  • "idk, whatever, buttons should be labeled"
  • "eh, exports something to a file?"
  • "usually this means export, idk. to the cloud"
  • "lift something up"

I really hope that changing the icon to something more clear (for example a folder) would make the life easier for many people. Including me, who've overwritten the entire database with an empty file because of a hurry and unclear icons.

I was forced to update the saves icons again. They were overloaded:
