Describe the bug

We need to upgrade the code base to eliminate deprecation warnings

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Start the server
  2. The deprecation warning below flashes on the screen

Expected behavior

  1. Start the server
  2. No deprecation warnings because the packages have been correctly updated.
    1. Suppressed warnings are not acceptable
    2. All other functionality must be maintained.
  3. Remove the packages if they are no longer required. This is a valid solution too.

Actual behavior

  • See above
