Changes:

  • Improved region/language support:
    • You can now specify your Apple Music region in the settings window (e.g. US, CA, AU).
      • This improves the accuracy of Apple Music web scraping when certain songs are region-specific or have region-specific names.
      • The default region is US, but AMWin-RP will try to auto-set the region from your OS.
    • Add fallback play/pause detection when Apple Music does not display in an English language
  • Improved Mini Player support:
    • Fix the Apple Music window hanging/freezing while both AMWin-RP and the Mini Player are active
    • Grab timestamps immediately when the Mini Player is available (instead of web scraping them)
      • Because of this, the Mini Player is now the preferred method of playback for AMWin-RP.
  • Fix display of 1-character song names
  • Improve network usage by abandoning web scrape searches for the current song after too many failed attempts
  • Bump required OS version to Windows 10 21H1
