The description_s field in Event_t_xxx may be empty or it may contain important information. This field used to be output on web services a while ago, but currently isn't.

Include the contents of this field, if present, in shottext and quakeml output from PH5WS/event service.

Stephen reports description_s is included in SEGY headers; however, I am in favor of maximum visibility of metadata through the relevant web services.
