v2 parameter mapping? #356

Description

The parameter mapping for PEtab v2 will look significantly different (PEtab-dev/PEtab#581).

  1. instead of "preequilibration" and simulation, there will be a variable number of periods
  2. the mapped values will not be identifier or float, but could also be more complex math expressions
  3. it will have to accommodate different properties or a model entity. not just its current value as before, but potentially also it's rate expression.

I have the feeling that much of the parameter mapping will be very simulator-specific, and I am wondering if it makes sense at all to have that in this library. For PEtab v1, building on the basic parameter mapping included led to much redundancy and inefficiency. I tend to leave the parameter mapping to the simulators.

Any opinions?
