@nick suggested allowing people to breeze through some of the onboarding steps (email, photo, name) by using a Facebook login button, for example. This would offer some convenience for the user to activate an account with less friction and simultaneously achieve an identity attestation. I would just add that we need to be careful to communicate to the user that she is not "loggin in", which might imply the ability to recover the account with Facebook. She still needs to be primarily concerned with maintaining her recovery phrase. Additionally, we would need to inject some disclaimer about privacy if we are going to immediately publish that information without her seeing the normal email, profile, and Facebook verification screens.
