response was "i don't know of any other type. whatever is most aligned to the basic staking is best for now. this way it's as indistinguishable from regular staking as possible"

My preference from there was for the hard approach. Preference for higher rewards should be to MLD directly, with the rest being split by value so that 10MLD of USD earns the same as 10MLD of gold. We can have each of those earn half as much as basic MLD staking by what is split to this smart contract address
