What is the difference between .py and .pyw?

.py is a python file that runs with the console window and .pyw is one that runs without it (windowed mode).

Will you have an exe?

Yes, we will have a EXE in the future but we don't have it currently because:

  1. It's too complicated and we would have to compile every time
  2. We dont have a certificate so it will flag up with windows defender if we make a EXE
  3. It wont be completely open source then
