Suggestion: clean the translation files

We need to :

• Remove empty, useless and deprecated strings
• Remove duplicated strings or add a way for a string ID to be a "symbolic link" to another one

For example, in french.txt, a lot of strings are either empty, deprecated, useless or duplicates.

What is a duplicate in one language does not have to be one in another language. Also, the translation system as is it now will possibly be overhauled at one point, at which point we'll (very likely) also remove deprecated strings. By the way, deprecated strings are marked with <not used anymore> in english_uk.txt, you can remove the entries for those in french.txt if you want to.

Maybe we could add a way for some languages to use symlinks on string IDs?

@Gymnasiast I hereby suggest to close this issue. The files are well cleaned, and this discussion is quite old.
(Also I found it while filtering the issues for translations not done in cs-CZ, the search is really wild)
