How do I know the data structure of variables?

For example, I want to know what member variables AD%m%FVW_u(1)%rotors(1) has. What should I do?
Or I want to know which class has member variable HubOrientation, what should I do?

The data structures in OpenFAST are contained within the *_Types.f90 files. These are auto-generated using the registry program from registry input files (typically *_Registry.txt ending). If you want to explore what is inside a particular derived type (somewhat analogous to a class, but without methods), you can look through the registry files. Alternatively, you could also compile in debug mode, set a breakpoint, then explore data structure through an IDE with a debugger (Visual Studio code for example).

Unfortunately we don't have much detailed documentation the data structures themselves outside the code, nor do we have much info on how to read the registry files (it's relatively clear to experienced programmers, but less obvious to beginners).
