OpenAL Error

Game will not start. Upon running REDRIVER2 via terminal, I receive this error:

./REDRIVER2: error while loading shared libraries: libopenal.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

• Game version: RC2
• Operating System: Linux Kubuntu 25.10
• CPU model: Intel i9-10900K
• GPU model: Geforce RTX 4070

I have ensured I have OpenAL in my package list. Perhaps a different OpenAL package is needed?

How do you install it on linux Ubuntu

Pardon, I missed an email notification. After searching online I was able to solve it by installing the packages mentioned here. As for installation method, I used the "New instructions" in the Readme.

However, I received a new error. On launching REDRIVER2, a small pop-up says:

"Cannot Initialize REDRIVER 2

Game files not found by folder DRIVER2/"

From the console output:

I can confirm this folder is present. I'm pretty certain I followed all the instructions correctly. At the least, I can confirm that the asset extractor ran successfully. Perhaps I missed something?
