Sometimes a process is invoked by your tests or during your tests but the effort in profiling it etc is irrelevant to the actual test or the coverage results being gathered and so ignoring the process itself and all its assemblies would be a better approach.
I imagine a command line option to pass in process names to be ignored and that the profiler would shutdown during initialise if the process it is running under matched one of the provided process name.
