Migration Guide Request – Spring Boot 3 / Spring 6

Hi OpenConext team,

We are currently using Mujina as a mock SAML Identity Provider.
Mujina is extremely useful, but it is based on older Spring and OpenSAML versions.

Since Spring Boot 3 / Spring 6 requires:

• Java 17+
• Jakarta namespaces
• OpenSAML 4+

it would be very helpful to have:

• An official migration guide, or
• A clear statement on whether Mujina IdP will support Spring 6+

At the moment, migrating the IdP requires a significant rewrite due to OpenSAML and Spring changes.

Please let us know if:

• Spring 6 support is planned, or
• Mujina is considered legacy/maintenance-only.
