Animated Text Web Part Overview

The Animated Text Web Part is a SharePoint client side web part built with the SharePoint Framework (SPFx).

This web part adds a text with an animated effect. This project uses the JQuery plugin letterfx.js This web part uses also the Custom Fields library to enhance the web part edition experience.

Thanks to this WP, you can insert your text, choose an effect, change the timing or the duration and modify the layout as font, size, color, etc.

AnimatedText

Properties

You can manage the following settings:

  • text: sets your text
  • effect: sets the text effect, can be spin, fade, grow, smear, fall, swirl, wave, fly-top, fly-bottom, fly-left or fly-right
  • effectDirection: defines the direction. Can be forward or backward
  • timing: timing in ms
  • duration: duration in ms
  • letterEnd: defines the state of a letter at the end. Can be restore, stay, destroy or rewind
  • elementEnd: defines the state of an element at the end. Can be restore, stay or destroy
  • align: defines the text align, can be left, center or right
  • font: specifies the font family as Arial, Verdana, etc.
  • size: sets the font size
  • color: sets the font color
  • backgroundColor: sets the background color

Installing the web part

  • Clone this repository
  • in the command line run:
    • npm install
    • gulp serve
