Temperature Sensor 'Unknown' even though clicking it shows history

• I've got a plant created, which link to a MQTT sensor for temperature
• MQTT sensor shows that there is a value and history for the temperature sensor
• The temperature sensor for the plant reads as 'unknown'
• All other sensors are grabbed correctly
• Deleting the same plant and re-creating with same name doesn't help
• Creating a new plant, with a different name and using the exact same sensors strangely works..

• The temperature sensor that isn't working has an incorrect 'External Sensor', it looks to be pointing to itself:

Current value: sensor.bird_of_paradise_temperature
It should be: sensor.bird_of_paradise_soil_tmp

How do i change it?

Even though I select sensor.bird_of_paradise_soil_tmp, sensor.bird_of_paradise_temperature gets assigned.

How to fix this? Thanks!

i used developer tools to fix this with the above yaml.
