We are excited to announce the release of Chess Position Evaluator version 3, which introduces auto play moves and several other improvements to enhance your chess experience.

What's New

  • Auto Play Moves: The new Auto Play Moves feature allows the tool to automatically play your next move after your opponent's move, without needing to click any button. This makes the game flow seamlessly, especially for faster-paced games.
  • Castling Support: Users can now indicate castling rights for both kingside and queenside before each move with a simple checkbox, ensuring proper handling of castling during the game.
  • Depth Slider for Stockfish: Adjust the depth for Stockfish’s analysis using a slider. The default depth is set to 15, providing a balance between speed and accuracy.

Improvements & Bug Fixes

  • Screenshot Feature Removed: The screenshot functionality has been removed to streamline the performance and focus on core features.
  • Various Bug Fixes: Several bugs have been fixed to improve the overall stability and usability of the application.
