Questions about TED API v3

At the September 2024 workshop, the new version of TED API v3 was announced.

It was commented that it would be operational by November 2024. In what environments? Just preview or also production?

Is there a Swagger available for preview? And for production?

On the other hand, when will TED API v2 stop working? What date for preview and production?

Thank you for reaching out. We've also received your non-SDK related question through our Helpdesk and have provided a response there, which should reach you shortly. While there have been some delays due to various factors, we aim to start testing soon with a tentative release planned for February. As this depends on testing, we will provide a specific date and further details once available.

We got a notice about TED API v3 release and we need to migrate from v2 APIs.

Also as per below announcement https://docs.ted.europa.eu/api/latest/index.html#_transitioning_from_ted_api_v2

It is written that

TED API v2 will remain supported for at least six months, until the end of September 2025, ensuring a smooth transition to the latest version.

So question is does this mean that after Sep-2025 TED API v2 will stop working or there is a plan for extension of v2 APIs, If yes till when ??

The current plan is for TEDAPI v2 to remain supported until the end of September 2025, which marks the end of the transition period to TEDAPI v3. At this point, there are no plans to extend support for TEDAPI v2 beyond this date.
As detailed in our email announcement that was sent to all eSenders, you'll need to make two key updates to shift to TEDAPI v3:

• Update the API endpoint URLs that your systems currently use to the new ones.
• Adjust the parameter name from "noticeAuthorLocale" to "noticeAuthorLang" in the metadata for submitting notices in the publication API.

In general, we aim to support two versions of the TED API at a time. While we have no intention to deprecate a version unless necessary (see versioning policy), it's possible that by the end of the transition period, a new version may be introduced.

We therefore encourage you to complete these changes during the six-month period to ensure readiness for future updates.
As a reminder, to ensure receipt of important communications from the OP, such as the email mentioned above, eSenders should update their developer profiles in the TED Developer Portal to include all “Additional Contact Emails”. Please note that the Publications Office does not manually add email addresses to their distribution list.

One more question while testing v3 version, mentioned in the annoucement we used existing developer key of preview environment of enotices2 to submit a notice. But then we are getting 401 UnAuhtorized error "Key Does not Exists". Can you please let us know about anything we are missing here as we didnot see any changes related to developer keys in annoucement. Or Is it like we have different APIs domain for preview environment for v3 version of APIs
