Hi @farvend, If you using vscode or any vscode fork try this extension, https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=TCTinh.universal-agent-quota-tracker
I want to see quota in Opencode
Reacted by Marcus Quinn and Mikhail BeliakovPlugin cannot change opencode TUI, we can by making a check quota tool and you ask the agent to get the quota, and it's show you quota, not like showing quota on the sidebar, it will consume you a call to agent for it to get the quota, which is for me bad design
If you want the sidebar of opencode always show quota, Opencode doesn't allow plugin to do that and we cannot do anything about this tracker, instead I relying in another IDE that is vscode which allow extension to create sidebar view
We can support the quota tracker on opencode if they allow plugin to render in the TUI as well but for now relying on agent call and tool is bad
Reacted by Marcus Quinnwhat about a toast each X percent hit shows a toast with an info.
what about a toast each X percent hit shows a toast with an info.
It can work but it will spam the user, imagining a toast pop up everytimes you call, maybe we can also add a cooldown system for that and setting to disable, but i still don't think this is good design for me the better ways still use a extension to view quota without cluster the opencode view, this is not align with my use case thought, anyone interested can pick this up but remember to have option to disable the toast
If you guys want, I can work on this one!

You can just copy-paste an extension folder from .vscode to .cursor (.antigravity).
Don't forget to edit aextensions.jsonto include a newly copied extensionPlugin cannot change opencode TUI, we can by making a check quota tool and you ask the agent to get the quota, and it's show you quota, not like showing quota on the sidebar, it will consume you a call to agent for it to get the quota, which is for me bad design If you want the sidebar of opencode always show quota, Opencode doesn't allow plugin to do that and we cannot do anything about this tracker, instead I relying in another IDE that is vscode which allow extension to create sidebar view We can support the quota tracker on opencode if they allow plugin to render in the TUI as well but for now relying on agent call and tool is bad

What about adding a
/quotacommand? I think it would be an okay optioni have done this #116 currently im using for my own tracking purpose
this is exactly the pain that led me to fork opencode into arctic
the core issue isn't just a
/quotacommand or a toast, it's that plugins can't render persistent state in the TUI, so quota visibility ends up either noisy or expensive (extra agent calls)arctic takes the opposite approach: the client owns the request flow, so plan-based usage and limits can be shown continuously without extra calls
if opencode ever exposes TUI rendering hooks for plugins, this could live upstream. until then, it's hard to do cleanly without client-level changes
Reacted by Tinh ToHey all, thanks for all the inputs, for now we won't implement a slash command or other ways to check the remaining quota, just because there are a lot of options to do that and we want to focus on improving stability rather than implement a new feature that needs to be maintained and increase complexity.
What I cxan reccoment is the vsCode extension https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=TCTinh.universal-agent-quota-tracker from @tctinhReacted by Omer Faruk Oruc
Feature Description
Quota "progress bar". In Antigravity there are some plugins that show the remaining quota (for example "Antigravity Quota (AGQ)")
Use Case
Would be cool if I knew how many vibes left
