The portable feature updated in 0.84 is really handy.
In terms of portability features, could add a one-click option to delete registry entries? Of course, using -cleanup can achieve this, but having a feature to do it would be more convenient. So that can delete the registry entries when needed.
It seems that the exported putty.dat does not have an integrity verification function. Some of the data inside can be modified and still load normally without any warning. Some data, when modified, triggers a loading alert. It is recommended to add an integrity check function to ensure that the exported putty.dat is not altered. Similar to .ppk files, which can verify integrity.
I named the blank .xlsx and .txt files as putty.dat. The putty.dat created from the .txt file can load properly and generates new records. The putty.dat created from the .xlsx file, however, cannot load and gives an error.
It would probably be safer if could implement integrity checks or compliance checks for putty.dat kind of like the way .ppk files are verified.
