Notes-Of-Fruit connects your iCloud Notes to your Android phone. It makes sure your notes appear on both your computer and your phone. The app manages changes to your text so that edits stay accurate. You keep your formatting when you move notes between devices.
You need a Windows computer to begin the setup process. This application works on Windows 10 and Windows 11.
- Go to the official release page.
- Locate the section labeled Assets.
- Click the file that ends in .exe.
- Save the file to your computer.
- Double-click the file to start the installation.
- Follow the prompts on your screen.
Once you install the app, open it from your desktop. You will see a screen that asks for your iCloud credentials.
- Enter your Apple ID and your app-specific password.
- Wait for the app to find your existing notes.
- The app syncs your notes in the background.
Use the button at the bottom of the screen to start a new note. The app saves your work automatically as you type. You can change the order of your notes or delete items you no longer need.
Ensure your computer meets these standards for the best performance:

If the app fails to open, check your antivirus settings. Some security software prevents new apps from launching. You can add an exception for Notes-Of-Fruit in your settings menu.
If your notes do not show up, check your internet connection first. Open your browser and visit a website to confirm you are online. If you have a connection, sign out of the app and sign in again. This forces the app to refresh your note list from the server.
If your formatting looks different on your phone, check your font settings. The app uses standard text formatting to ensure compatibility. Do not use custom plugins that modify base text files, as these can conflict with the sync process.
Notes-Of-Fruit keeps your data on your phone and the iCloud servers. You maintain control over your content. You can export your notes to plain text files if you want to create a manual backup. Open the Settings menu inside the app to find the Export option. Pick a folder on your computer to store these files.
The software updates automatically when you launch it. You do not need to repeat the download process to receive updates. The app checks for new versions and installs them while you work.
This application communicates directly with Apple servers. It does not send your notes to any third-party servers. Your Apple ID password stays on your device and does not leave your local system. You can remove your account from the app at any time through the Account tab. Removing your account clears the local cache of your notes from your hard drive.
Do I need to keep the app open to sync notes? The app runs in the background. You can close the main window and the app continues to look for updates. Look for the app icon in your system tray near the clock to confirm it is running.
Can I use this app on multiple computers? Yes, you can install the app on more than one computer. Each instance of the app connects to the same iCloud account and displays the same notes.
Does the app support photos and drawings? The current version focuses on text notes. Photos and handwritten drawings may not appear correctly in this version. Use the app primarily for text-based information.
Is there a fee to use this tool? This project is free to use. There are no subscriptions or hidden charges. The developers maintain the tool as a community resource.
How do I report a bug? If you find an error, visit the main GitHub link. Look for the Issues tab. You can describe what happened and submit a report. The community uses these reports to improve the app for everyone.
Keep your Windows OS updated to match the latest security standards. This helps the app communicate with the iCloud services without interruption. If you experience slow sync times, clear your temporary app storage in the Settings menu. This does not delete your notes, but it does remove cached images and temporary files that can slow down the sync process. Restart the app after you clear this storage. Your notes will reappear once the sync process finishes.
