Pull Request Overview
This PR fixes a bug where Maestro queue workers were retrying jobs even when encountering non-retryable exceptions like MaestroNotFoundException. The fix ensures that workers properly handle cases where workflows are deleted or cannot be found by treating these as non-retryable errors.
- Modified exception handling to catch both
MaestroNotFoundExceptionandMaestroInternalErroras non-retryable - Renamed metric constant from
QUEUE_WORKER_INTERNAL_ERRORtoQUEUE_WORKER_PROCESS_ERRORfor better clarity - Added comprehensive test coverage for the new
MaestroNotFoundExceptionhandling behavior

[nitpick] Consider ordering the exception types by specificity, with the more specific MaestroNotFoundException first: } catch (MaestroNotFoundException | MaestroInternalError m) {. This follows the convention of handling more specific exceptions before more general ones.
- Add SubscriptionState model and DAO with advisory locking - Add subscription_state table migration with proper indexing - Update SubscriptionProcessor to create/update states on rule matches - Add HashUtil for consistent MD5 hashing - Add test coverage for new components, including a concurrency test suite for testing race conditions Provides foundation for subscription completion detection.
