Also golang upgrades, change linter off of the deprecated linter, fixed travis CI to work with all the above. |

Sharing here, may be of interest to those trying to build as a docker image to run in kubernetes or similar. ALSO updated to work with some of the latest go packages & such. NOT tested, and more work needed to build different ARCH, but... may be of use...
