The NetAuto-Bootcamp is an immersive, hands-on program designed to give you a strong foundation in network automation and essential networking concepts. Whether you’re new to networking or transitioning from a traditional IT role, this program blends vendor-neutral theory with vendor-specific practice, covering Cisco IOS and Arista EOS.
You won’t just learn concepts—you’ll apply them. Expect to design, configure, automate, and troubleshoot networks in simulated environments using Cisco Packet Tracer, GNS3, and EVE-NG. You’ll work with Ansible, Terraform, OpenTofu, and Python to automate tasks, compare vendor syntax, and solve real-world scenarios.
- Linux – Shell commands, process management, networking tools, and automation scripting.
- Version Control – Git basics, branching strategies, and collaboration for automation projects.
- Networks – Topologies, IP addressing, subnetting, and switching fundamentals.
- Protocols – VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, IPv4, and connectivity between networks.
- Programming – Python and Go essentials for network engineers.
- Virtualization – Creating and managing lab environments with hypervisors.
- Containerization – Deploying automation tools and services in Docker.
- Cloud – Cloud networking principles and automation workflows.
- Automation – Config management with Ansible, infra provisioning with Terraform/OpenTofu.
- CI/CD – Building pipelines for testing and deploying network changes.
- Monitoring / Observability – Using Prometheus, Grafana, and telemetry for network visibility.
- Basic understanding of networking (IP addressing, OSI model)
- Laptop/PC with at least 8 GB RAM and virtualization support
- Commitment to hands-on labs and daily practice
