Mock edge components when running on dev browser

Hi

I find cumbersome that the native navbar components have no equivalent when running the app on desktop ? 

I know that it won't allow to run the full app since many other plugins won't have mocks too, but that also could be a good reason to offer some mocks when we want to run the app directly on desktop while dev ?
